Maintenance

Val-d'Isère, France Winter Season

The Maintenance role is at the heart of keeping our chalet running like a dream. No two days are the same—you’ll be the go-to problem solver, jumping into action whether it’s silencing a squeaky door, tackling a temperamental boiler, or anything in between.
During your shifts, you’ll be on hand to respond to any maintenance issues as they arise, keeping things running seamlessly across the resort. You’ll also keep clear and accurate records of all work carried out. Throughout the week, you’ll support wider resort operations, including helping to deliver food and wine to chalet hosts on our weekly shopping day.

You’ll take responsibility for the upkeep of our resort vehicles, carrying out thorough weekly checks, monitoring oil and water levels, and logging any updates. When the snow falls heavily, you’ll play a key role in keeping the resort moving—clearing snow and ensuring safe access paths to chalets for both guests and staff.
Sundays are our main changeover day, and you’ll be part of making it run smoothly. You’ll help transport luggage between chalets and transfer buses, ensuring guests can arrive and depart with ease—no dragging suitcases through the snow required.

Key Responsibilities

We have one dedicated Maintenance person in each of our resorts: Val d’Isère, Courchevel, and La Tania.

In La Tania, our smaller resort, this role is combined with the Resort Support position—making it an even more varied and hands-on job.

No two days are the same in Maintenance. You’ll be the go-to problem solver, stepping in to handle issues across both chalets and staff accommodation as they arise.

Chalet Maintenance

From blocked sinks and temperamental dishwashers to tripped electrics, you’ll tackle a wide range of day-to-day issues. Whether it’s reported by chalet hosts or guests, you’ll be quick to respond and keep everything running smoothly behind the scenes.

Hot Tub Maintenance

Some of our chalets feature hot tubs—so you’ll play a key role in keeping them guest-ready. This includes regular chemical checks, as well as draining and refilling on changeover days to ensure everything is clean, safe, and perfectly relaxing.

Driving

You’ll also spend time on the road, working alongside Resort Support during the week to deliver food and wine to chalets. On Sundays, you’ll help with luggage handling, making sure arrivals and departures run seamlessly.
