Seasons Collection is seeking an experienced Bartender with a strong background in luxury hospitality, fine dining, premium bars, private chalets, or superyachts to join our Niseko residences for the upcoming winter season.

This role is ideally suited to candidates eligible for a Japan Working Holiday Visa, offering a unique opportunity to combine high-end hospitality experience with a seasonal lifestyle in one of the world’s premier ski destinations.

The Role

As Senior Bartender, you will take ownership of beverage service and play a key role in creating a refined, memorable guest experience throughout each stay.

From après-ski drinks and pre-dinner cocktails through to evening service and private events, you will prepare and serve beverages with precision, creativity, and exceptional attention to detail.

You will work closely with the wider residence and culinary teams, maintain impeccable bar presentation and stock standards, and confidently engage with guests while anticipating individual preferences and respecting privacy.

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven bartending experience in luxury hotels, fine dining restaurants, premium cocktail bars, private chalets, or superyachts
  • Excellent cocktail knowledge and the ability to confidently prepare classic and contemporary cocktails to a consistently high standard
  • Strong knowledge of spirits, wine, beer, and non-alcoholic beverages, with the ability to make considered guest recommendations
  • Experience delivering polished wine and champagne service
  • Strong understanding of bar setup, stock control, replenishment, cleanliness, and presentation standards
  • Ability to create bespoke drinks based on guest preferences and deliver a highly personalised beverage experience
  • Barista abilities
  • Confident, warm, and professional guest interaction skills
  • Fluent English spoken and written is essential
  • Experience in high-touch, guest-facing environments
  • High level of attention to detail and pride in presentation
  • Strong sense of discretion and professionalism

Working Holiday Visa Eligibility

  • Candidates must be eligible for a Japan Working Holiday Visa
  • Typically, available to applicants aged 18–30 (depending on passport country) – Applicants must check working holidays visa eligibility online
  • Applicants must apply for the visa from their home country prior to arrival
