Background

Despite being new to the ski industry, I hugely admire the sport and would love to spend a season working on the slopes. My long term goal is to work as a ski instructor in Japan, thus bringing together two of my greatest passions, skiing and travel.

  I was offered a promotion upon the position I held last year and I accepted it gratefully. This year my main role is to work closely with the 17 year olds to train them to be Camp Counsellors next year. It's important this year for me to uphold a high level of professionalism and act as the role model that these young adults can look up to. I will also be resuming my much loved duties of leading activities such as the zipline, climbing towers and horse rides.

  Looking after children between the ages of 8-16, I stayed in cabins with the campers, ate with them and lead activities for them. Activities included zipline, climbing towers, education on wild survival and horse riding. Safety was of the utmost importance as well as ensuring the children were making memories for life. I felt incredibly fortunate to be able to carry out this work.
