Education

  • Trinity College Dublin
    MSc in Computer Engineering
    2022 - 2023
I completed my Master’s in Computer Engineering (M.A.I.) at Trinity College Dublin where I developed advanced technical expertise in software and hardware systems. This course was an integrated masters and ran from September 2022 - April 2023. The program emphasised problem-solving, innovation and research through modules that we chose and culminating in a major dissertation project that allowed me to specialise in a topic of my choice.

My dissertation study was "Personalisation in Chatbots" and it described an educational chatbot which tutored students in natural language as a human teaching assistant would, guiding a student through exercises, answering questions and adapting the pace of learning based on individual students’ needs. The chatbot designed in this study created an effective and engaging learning environment using personalisation and adaptation. Students were given structured SQL exercises based on their ability and personalised feedback on their answers.
  • Trinity College Dublin
    BA in Engineering
    2019 - 2022
I completed my Bachelor’s in Engineering (B.A.) at Trinity College Dublin from 2019 to 2022. The program provided a strong foundation in general engineering during the first two years, covering core principles across multiple disciplines, including mechanics, materials, business, electronics, and computing. This broad-based approach allowed me to develop problem-solving skills and technical versatility before specialising in Computer Engineering in my final two years.

During my specialisation, I focused on software development, artificial intelligence, embedded systems, and networked applications, gaining hands-on experience in designing and optimising computational systems. The program emphasised both theoretical knowledge and practical application with opportunities for project-based learning, research and industry collaboration. My coursework and projects prepared me to tackle complex engineering challenges, equipping me with the analytical and technical skills necessary for innovative problem-solving.
  • Universite Catholique Louvain
    Erasmus
    2022 - 2022
During my Erasmus year at Université Catholique Louvain (UCLouvain), I completed masters level modules in Computer Engineering, deepening my expertise in AI, embedded systems, and distributed computing. This exchange provided valuable exposure to cutting-edge research and international collaboration, strengthening my adaptability and problem-solving skills. Studying in a dynamic academic environment refined my technical abilities and prepared me to work effectively in diverse, global settings.
