Job experience

Irwin MitchellSheffield, UKSince starting my position at Irwin Mitchell, I have built on my strong foundation of communication and organisational skills as I continue to gain experience in a professional workplace and improve my understanding of the day to day workings of a legal office. I have developed a better understanding of my personal career aspirations and the case specific support that a firm like IM can provide to clients as they undergo challenging personal injury claims. Despite not being in a client facing role, I have found it incredibly satisfying seeing the settlements our solicitors work so hard to achieve for our clients; to play a small part in delivering justice is very motivating.

Education
- Swansea University
LLB Bachelor of Laws (Hons), 2:12021 - 2024Throughout my degree, I thoroughly enjoyed deepening my understanding of the law across a wide range of modules. The challenge of consistent essay writing developed my analytical and communication skills - some of my favourites included presenting an argument that the law is not doing enough to protect nature at this critical stage of the nature crisis, debating the scope of the definition of terrorism and hypothesising on the moral impacts of technology and its role in the governance of our population.
