Hello, my name is Rosie Rothney, I’m 19 years old and I grew up in the highlands of Scotland. I’ve spent my whole life snowboarding and skiing from a young age and now I’m ready to go away on my own for a different experience and to meet new people. Both of my parents taught both skiing and snowboarding and been abroad doing numerous seasons working abroad, And have encouraged me to go away and do something similar. I did my first winter season in laax Switzerland when I was thirteen with my family and it was such an amazing experience. And since then I’ve enjoyed traveling around Europe with my sister while she competes at World Cup competitions. Since the age of sixteen I’ve instructed and coached snowboarding at beginners level and advanced. I’ve been able to use my experience from being in the Great Britain development squad for freestyle snowboarding. And have taught all my clients the best way to have fun! Throughout my school years I worked in a restaurant/hotel where I developed confident communication skills and friendly outgoing customer service.   I started instructing for snowboard club so I could share my passion for snowsports with new eager clients wanting to try something new. I instructed a variety of ages from ages of 5 years to 40 years. and all different abilities from beginners to experienced freestyle riders. In snowboard club I arranged session plans, organizing different groups and promotion for the club.
