Hi, I’m Mattea Demetriou. I’m currently studying Media Communications and Marketing at Monash University, with a Diploma in French on the side. I’ve always been drawn to roles where I can make a genuine difference, which is why volunteering with Koala Kids has meant so much to me. I love being part of a team that supports children and families through such tough times, and I’ve found real purpose in helping with the behind-the-scenes admin that keeps things running smoothly. Outside of uni and volunteering, I’m passionate about cooking, I recently completed a short course at Le Cordon Bleu in London, which deepened my love for sharing food with others. Whether I’m cooking, coaching netball, or working in a busy medical centre, I bring warmth, reliability, and a calm, can-do attitude. I really value connection, and I’m always looking for ways to contribute meaningfully to the people and communities around me.
