At Stella Palace Resort, I work as a Kids’ Club Assistant in a luxury hotel setting, providing fun, safe, and engaging care for children aged 4–12. I plan and lead a variety of activities, including arts and crafts, games, themed events, and outdoor play. My role involves ensuring the wellbeing of each child, supporting positive behaviour, and creating an inclusive environment where children from different countries and backgrounds felt welcomed and confident to participate. I communicate regularly with families, ensured all safety procedures were followed, and worked closely with an international team to deliver high-quality childcare in a busy, fast-paced resort.

        Education Support Officer

In my role as a Relief Education Support Officer, I provided one-to-one and small group support to pupils aged 4–11 with a variety of additional needs, including autism, ADHD, and learning disabilities. I adapted learning materials, supported emotional regulation, delivered personal care where needed, and helped children access the curriculum in both mainstream and specialist settings. I worked closely with teachers and SENCOs to maintain consistent routines and foster inclusion. My role also involved promoting social development, encouraging confidence, and helping create a calm, supportive learning environment.

      Education

      • Liverpool Hope University
        Psychology
        2018 - 2021
My Psychology degree provided a strong foundation in understanding human behaviour, development, and mental health. Key areas of study included child and adolescent development, cognitive psychology, social behaviour, psychological disorders, and research methods. I gained insight into how people think, learn, and communicate — particularly useful in my work with children and individuals with additional needs. The course also strengthened my analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, which I apply daily in supportive, educational, and care-based roles.
