Dear Hiring Manager, We are writing to apply for the position as a chalet host couple. My husband as the chalet host and myself as the chef, we have plenty of catering experience for large groups and with over 25 years of experience in the hospitality industry, we have been hands-on in our businesses, Bakeries, and Cafes, up till 2023. We have skied over 25 different ski resorts in Europe and always dreamed of running a chalet in the snow. I did work a season in Hofgarten in the 80s for Contiki, a long time ago. We both bring a calm, capable, and a strong service-focused approach to look after guests in a home- from – home environment. Our background includes running high-standard operations, preparing and serving food, providing personal service, and always keeping an eye for detail and smiling. Preparing large corporate lunch and dinner. We are more than comfortable preparing breakfast and dinner for a full chalet, ensuring everything runs smoothly behind the scenes, and helping guests make the most of their time on the slopes. We have recently bought a property in Montenegro, where we will only spend a few months a year. The rest of the time, it is on Airbnb. We have been coming to Europe to ski since the 80s, the last 20 years, annually, with our kids and sometimes just the two of us.
