Background

I am a highly focused and motivated manager with 12 years of experience across the travel, tourism, and film industries. For the past two years, I’ve managed Lapoint’s surf camp in Costa Rica, part of one of the world’s largest surf travel companies. The camp hosts 52 weekly guests and a team of around 35 international and local staff. I oversee all on-site daily operations including scheduling, HR, guest satisfaction, conflict resolution, logistics, supplier partnerships, and budget planning. I create and manage annual budgets, guest experience targets, staff recruitment and training, and develop relationships with external providers to offer high-quality activities that also increase revenue. I have trained and managed international staff with varied backgrounds and skill levels, ensuring standards are consistently met. I liaise with head office and coordinate operational processes using Google Drive (Docs, Sheets, Meet), Canva, a POS system, and WhatsApp. I am also on call 24/7 for emergencies and worked closely as Executive Assistant to the Destination Manager. Prior to this, I worked for 11 years as a hair and makeup artist in film across London and Europe on productions like Bridget Jones, The Crown, and John Wick. This taught me how to thrive under pressure, meet tight deadlines, work long hours, and collaborate across departments with professionalism and clear communication. I also completed two ski seasons as a chalet chef and host in St. Anton, running chalets for 28–30 guests. I’m familiar with guest-facing chalet operations and high hospitality standards. I have excellent knowledge of Savoie, particularly Les Arcs, where I’ve been visiting for 30+ years. My family lives in Peisey-Nancroix. I speak conversational French, have lived and worked in multiple countries, and hold a full clean driving license with experience driving in snow and mountains.
