Food and Beverage Supervisor at Phyllis Court Club
Background
I am a very active person I love to be on my feet for the majority of the day and keeping busy. I am also a creative person and have an interest in new skills and hobbies where I can create something such as cooking/baking or art in many forms. I am very passionate about my job and love providing a great atmosphere for customers and get a lot of job satisfaction when I hear positive feedback. I learnt to ski when I was 4 years old and have been the majority of years since and would love to be out there for a full season as it has been the only sport I have always loved to do.

Phyllis Court ClubHenley-on-Thames, UKI am currently working as a supervisor at Phyllis Court Club which is a
private members club in a sizeable establishment offering 2
restaurants, 2 bars, fitness centre and many event spaces which host
anything from meetings to weddings. I am responsible for over seeing
the restaurant staff before during and after service times and ensuring
smooth service throughout. I am also responsible for upholding the
clubs values and rules which being present front of house for the
majority of my shifts allows me to provide excellent customer service. I
am the go to problem solver if any issues arise during food service and
I have to be quick at thinking on my feet to keep up customer
satisfaction. Day-to-day I have to be very organised in arranging the
staff to complete all necessary tasks in the set time frames we have.
Other responsibilities I have surrounding food service is attending
menu tastings and changes every 8 weeks. This involves suggestions in
good time before the menu is being developed and then commenting
on the food and the way it is planning to be served to ensure it is up to
the highest standard. I started as a F&B Assistant but was recently
promoted to supervisor. - September 2024 - December 2024Part 1 Architectural Assistant
Trombé LtdIslington, London, UKI worked with Trombe as a part 1 architectural assistant upon com-
pleting my architecture degree. Trombe’s focus is structural glazing
and they create some gorgeous spaces filled with light. I was quickly
intergrated into the small team and involved in initial design, final
drawings, customer meetings, correspondence with suppliers and
office management. I gained valuable experience of the professional
environment and an insight into the architecture industry.
