Zita Zsófia Zsigmond
Chalet Host Couple
Physiotherapist at Tolna Vármegyei Balassa János Kórház
Background
We are a Hungarian married couple, Zsófi and Gábor, looking for ski jobs for the 25/26 winter season in France. I’m Zsófi, a physiotherapist, and my husband Gábor is a swimming teacher and water polo coach. We both have experience in hospitality, having worked together in a food truck every summer, so we know how to keep things organized while having fun. We love France, we visit every year, and this season we would love to spend even more time there, improving our French and enjoying the mountains we adore. Currently, our French is at a basic level, but I speak fluent advanced English, and Gábor is at B2 level in English, so communication is never a problem. We are fun, outgoing, hardworking, and enthusiastic about skiing, snowboarding, and meeting new people. Next autumn, we plan to move to Canada for university and work, but before that, we want to live, work, and learn in France. So Bonjour á tous!

Tolna Vármegyei Balassa János Kórház7100 Szekszárd Béri Balogh Ádám u. 5-7.. Following the graduation I wanted to gain hands on experience in physiotherapy and patient rehabilitation so I decided to start working at my hometown hospital. The year I spent there shaped my interests, work ethics, and approach to people. I was employed in the neurology and cardiology units; however, I had the opportunity to experience several fields such as: Pediatrics, Pulmonology, Endocrinology and Diabetology as well as; Dermatology. I mostly substituted for my college during her abseence at the ICU unit. One of the most rewarding moments of my career so far was seeing a former stroke patient walking independently in the city after relearning how to walk with my help.

Education

Physiotherapy2020 - 2024When it came to choosing a profession, I knew early on that I wanted something less rigid than medicine, yet still a field where I could help people heal through movement rather than medication. Physiotherapy was the evident choice.
I completed a Bsc degree majoring physiotherapy at the University of Pécs, gaining a solid foundation on human movement patterns. My undergraduate thesis on shoulder injury prevention in youth water polo players first sparked my interest in sports, while my professional experience taught me how regular exercise influences lifelong performance, health, and mental balance.
