Background
I am an accomplished professional with 15+ years’ experience in accounting, client service, and team support, now seeking a career break to return to the Alps for the ski season. I have EU Passport and I am skilled in hospitality, guest care and organisation with previous hotel and chalet experience in France. Passionate about food, baking, and creating a warm, welcoming environment for guests. Fluent in English, Polish and conversational in French. Having previously worked in La Grave, France as a receptionist and housekeeper in a hotel that offered both guiding services and accommodation, I know first-hand how rewarding it is to create unforgettable experiences for guests in a ski resort. That experience left a lasting impression on me and I am eager to return to the Alps to combine my hospitality skills with my enthusiasm for food and customer service. During the ski season in La Grave, I welcomed guests, managed reservations, handled invoicing and supported housekeeping to keep the property running smoothly. I also occasionally helped in the kitchen with dinner preparation and breakfast, picked up and dropped off guests using the company minivan, which gave me an understanding of the importance of flexibility and teamwork in a busy resort environment. More broadly, I have worked in a variety of customer-facing roles, from hotel housekeeping manager, customer service adviser and accountant so I am comfortable dealing with guests’ needs and ensuring they feel well looked after.
