      Background

Hi, my name is Isabella and I am keen to be an au pair/chalet girl at a ski resort for the 2026/27 season during my gap year. I very much enjoy working with children and families, stemming from having a younger sister myself. My commitment to working with children is exemplified through; volunteering in local schools as a classroom assistant, teaching First Aid to younger peers at St John Ambulance, running sessions as a trained mental health mentor to students at my school, and assisting individual children at my local SEND school. I enjoy collaborating with children in a multi-faceted, engaging approach, promoting learning through play. I am able to do this with my strong educational grounding, achieving 11 A*s at GCSE (9x9s, 2x8s) and predicted 3 A*s at A Level in Mathematics, Politics, and Biology. I also believe in the value of sport, highlighted through my endeavours of skiing, badminton, squash, swimming, and at a county level, hockey, tennis, and cricket. I believe I could not only provide a quality au pairing service, but also help develop children both academically, socially, and emotionally. My friends would describe me as a conscientious, caring and committed person, and I believe these are traits I can effectively implement into an au pairing job. If you have any further questions please don't hesitate to ask, I have experience in many spheres which I am open to delve into. I await excitedly to hear from your family!
