Background

My wife, Claire, and I are a married British couple applying for a Chalet Host Couple role for the upcoming winter season. We’ve been together 18 years and bring a strong partnership, shared work ethic and genuine passion for cooking, hosting and creating memorable experiences for others. After 17 years in the corporate world, we are excited to pursue a longstanding dream of spending a ski season living and working in the mountains together. We both love skiing, cooking, hosting people and outdoor adventure, and we feel chalet hosting would combine all of the things we enjoy most. We believe we bring many transferable skills from our professional backgrounds which would make us excellent chalet hosts. Between us, we have extensive experience in leadership, organisation, teamwork, communication and problem solving developed through senior professional roles managing teams, projects and stakeholder relationships. We are calm under pressure, highly dependable and genuinely enjoy creating positive experiences for others.
