Chalet Management Couple – Private & Guest Hosting

Le Bettex, Les Menuires (just above St. Martin de Bellville)

We are seeking an experienced and professional couple to manage our 7-bedroom ski-in/ski-out chalet in Le Bettex, just below Les Menuires. This is a dual-focus role: providing a discreet, high-standard service for the owners and their personal guests while also managing all aspects of the chalet’s commercial holiday rentals.

The role requires a flexible, hands-on approach and the ability to deliver both a private household standard for the owners and a polished, welcoming service for paying guests.

A private studio apartment, connected to the chalet, is provided for the couple.

Key Responsibilities

• Private Client Service: Delivering a high level of hospitality for the owners and their personal guests, ensuring discretion, flexibility, and an elevated standard of service.
• Commercial Guest Hosting: Managing guest stays for rental bookings, providing excellent hospitality and ensuring a seamless experience for all visitors.
• Cooking & Dining: Preparing and serving daily breakfasts, afternoon tea, canapés, and multi-course dinners to a high standard, tailoring menus to guest preferences.
• Housekeeping: Daily cleaning and servicing of the chalet, deep cleaning on changeover days, mid-week towel changes, and maintaining immaculate presentation at all times.
• Property & Operations Management: Overseeing supplies and stock control, placing orders, coordinating laundry, managing the hot tub, and addressing minor maintenance issues.
• Bookings & Administration: Handling guest bookings and enquiries, maintaining schedules, liaising with owners on occupancy, and managing turnover between stays.
• Flexibility & Adaptability: Adjusting to last-minute visits from the owners or VIP guests and balancing the requirements of both private and commercial use.

Skills & Experience Required

• Previous professional cooking experience (restaurant, hotel, or independent chalet chef roles).
• Experience managing luxury properties, ideally in a dual private and commercial setting.
• Proven ability to provide private client-level service with discretion and professionalism.
• Strong organisational skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities effectively.
• Friendly, approachable, and confident in hosting a wide range of guests.
• A self-sufficient and proactive team, able to work closely together and maintain high standards.

Package

Longer-Term Opportunity
